Our Workforce Challenge
According to a recent industry report by the Manufacturing Institute, “82 percent of American manufacturers reported a shortage of high-skilled workers, equating to approximately 600,000 high-skilled manufacturing positions that are currently going unfilled.”
Our Solution: Workforce Matchmaking
To help bridge the skills gap in advanced manufacturing, the Vermont Chamber of Commerce is partnering with Gold Sponsor Vermont Tech at Manufactured in Vermont to provide participating manufacturers access to their future workforce.
Make a Match. Get Workforce.
As a member exhibitor, and, through the prescheduled B2B matchmaking, you’ll have an opportunity to schedule, meet and interview Vermont Tech graduates and soon-to-be graduates who are trained in Advanced Manufacturing and who are new, potential employees for your future workforce.
Prescheduling for the matchmaking will begin 6-8 weeks prior to Manufactured in Vermont on Wednesday, September 27th, 2017 at the Champlain Valley Exposition Center, Expo South Facility. Matchmaking will take place during the day of the event and in a designated area.
For event and B2B matchmaking questions, contact Chris Carrigan, Vermont Chamber of Commerce, (802) 223-0904, email@example.com.
